Adult's Social Worker

Adult Community Mental Health Social Worker | Manchester | £35.00 per hour | Hybrid

Join an Adult Community Mental Health Team within a Local Authority based in Manchester. The Social Worker will support adults with Mental Health needs, completing Care Act assessments, mental capacity assessments, risk assessments, safeguarding enquiries and care and support planning. The role involves managing complex cases, promoting independence, supporting recovery and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teams. The role offers £35.00/hour, hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office and an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend to 6 months.

This is a locum opportunity requiring 2 years' post-qualified experience within a Local Authority. Previous frontline Adult Social Care or Community Mental Health experience is essential, including working with adults with severe and enduring mental health conditions. Experience in safeguarding adults, mental capacity, Care Act legislation, risk management, multidisciplinary working and complex case management is highly desirable.
