Our attitude to compliance at Charles Hunter Associates is simple. It has to and always will be above and beyond required standards. By providing professional social work and social care staff to work with some of the most vulnerable children and adults means that Charles Hunter Associates have a responsibility towards safeguarding. 

We employ a dedicated compliance team at Charles Hunter Associates. This team is the forefront of our commitment to best practice, ensuring we are capable of always delivering fully compliant candidates inline with all of our legal obligations along with capability of meeting the demands of our clients regular auditing practices.

To show our commitment to safeguarding, Charles Hunter Associates hold the exclusive Compliance+ accreditation. Compliance+ is a best practice standard that was developed by the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) alongside external stakeholders including the British Association of Social Workers (BASW),Social Work England, ESPO, agency managed service providers, and several leading local authorities. 

Compliance+ provides an industry-wide best practice benchmark for social work recruitment agencies, which sets the standard for providing high quality staff whilst ensuring that the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is a priority. 

To maintain this standard, Charles Hunter Associates is audited annually by an independent external safeguarding professional. To date, we have passed this audit successfully on all occasions.
