Social Worker

We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years permanent post qualified experience within a direct local authority.

About the team:

The Duty and Assessment Service is responsible for receiving and responding to referrals where children and families may need support or where safeguarding concerns have been raised. The team undertakes initial assessments, responds to urgent safeguarding matters and completes section 47 enquiries where required. Working closely with children, families and partner agencies, the service focuses on identifying risk and need at the earliest opportunity and ensuring the right support, intervention or longer-term plan is put in place.

About you:

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3-year experience is essential to be considered for this role. Experience working in a Frontline Children's Service lends well to the success of this position.
