Salary: £23,000 pro rata (£26,811 FTE) + £1,000 joining bonus

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and motivated individuals to join our clients dedicated team supporting autistic children through behaviourally based teaching.

What does the role involve?

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils in small classes and one-to-one settings to support their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging learning activities
• Supporting communication and life skills development
• Following individual learning plans
• Encouraging positive behaviours and independence
• Supporting educational trips and activities
• Assisting with break times and daily routines
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development

You'll receive extensive support and supervision from experienced professionals and internationally recognised behaviour analysts while making a genuine difference in the lives of autistic young people.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children or disabilities
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
• A positive and professional attitude
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• A willingness to learn and develop

Previous SEN experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Working hours:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 8:45am-4:45pm

Tuesday: 8:45am-5:30pm

Friday: 8:45am-4:30pm
