Interim Nursery Manager

Our client is a well-established nursery based in Marlow, set within a beautifully converted farmhouse. The purpose-designed nursery provides a unique blend of character and charm, creating a warm and stimulating environment for children.

They are seeking an experienced Interim Nursery Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, providing strong leadership and ensuring consistently high standards of care, education and safeguarding.

Pay Rate

• Up to £20.00 per hour PAYE Plus Holiday Pay
• Up to £26.10 per hour Umbrella
• 3 Month Interim contract
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the nursery.
• Lead, support and develop a dedicated team of Early Years practitioners.
• Ensure the nursery delivers high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement across all areas of nursery provision.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, staff and external professionals.
• Support staff performance, development and effective team working.
• Ensure children receive engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintain a positive culture focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for children.

To be considered, you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Nursery Manager.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing an early years team.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• The ability to confidently step into an interim management position and make an immediate impact.
• Be able to commute to Marlow.
