Children Support Worker

My client is looking to hire permanent Children Support Workers for their children's homes based in Exeter, Tiverton, Dartington, Crediton and Barnstaple.

This role is working in a residential children's home which offers a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people who have either suffered early childhood trauma from abuse, neglect or exploitation or require additional support due to learning disabilities and complex needs.

• Starting salary of £31,600 (£28,080 plus £3,600 sleep ins)

If you are a graduate with a degree or qualification in any of the below, have a driving license and vehicle plus can commit to a shift pattern including mornings, evenings and sleep ins

• Psychology or psychotherapy, counselling, childhood trauma
• Behaviour analysis or childcare
• Sociology or criminology
• Teaching or SEN Education

Or if you have work experience with

• SEN Education, Summer Camps or Children's Clubs for additional needs
• Youth Work or Young People Support
• Custodial, Young Offenders or Youth Justice
• Care Leavers, Counselling, Therapy or Young People's Mental Health
