Supervising Social Worker

A specialist therapeutic independent fostering agency are looking for a supervising social worker for their fostering service with a caseload covering the Coventry, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire. This is a permanent and full-time position that is hybrid working (1/2 days per week in office).

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available)

About the team

This independent fostering agency is well known for working with a therapeutic approach and their service is rated "good" by Ofsted (2026). They have several regionally based teams across the UK but this service is based in the West Midlands with an office in Birmingham or Tamworth that you can be based at.

About the job

• Supervising a caseload of up to 7 foster families
• Working collaboratively within a multi-agency team
• Upkeeping all relevant compliance & reports
• No out of hours
• No assessments

About you

The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification experience in Children's Social Work whilst having an up-to-date understanding of relevant fostering legislation. This is a growing team with long-term potential to progress into a senior position and beyond when opportunities arise.

• A salary of £36,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
