Adult's Senior Social Worker

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join a n Adult Social Care Community Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the team

The team works with adults across a range of needs including older people, people with physical disabilities, and those with mental health or cognitive conditions such as dementia. Social workers complete statutory Care Act assessments, support plans, safeguarding enquiries, and Mental Capacity Act assessments, managing cases from initial referral through to review and closure. A strengths-based and person-centred approach runs through all practice, with social workers working alongside individuals, their families, and partner agencies to promote independence, wellbeing, and the best possible outcomes in the community.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience in a mental health setting is experience that is essential in the success of this role.You must have experience of supervising staff within a Social Work Team.
