This is an opportunity with a specialist provider of children's homes and supported accommodation in the Devon area.

My client is looking for a Therapeutic Support Worker in a children's home based in the centre of Exeter.

On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you an excellent career progression into management with Level 3, 4 and 5 qualifications. My client has a fantastic reputation for nurturing staff and are an industry leader with their in house training programmes.

This is a role where you will be working with one of the most reputable care providers in the area and will benefit from ongoing training and support to ensure you have everything you need to become successful in the role.

  • Starting salary of £31,600 (£28,080 plus £3,600 sleep ins)

We are considering candidates who have children's home experience as well as candidates with transferable professional experience including

  • Youth Worker or Community Youth Work
  • Young Offending or Custodial
  • SEN Education or TA/LSA for young people with behavioural needs
  • Relevant Degree/Graduate (Psychology, Sociology, Behavioural studies)

The below is mandatory to be considered for this job

  • Full Manual Driving License and Vehicle
  • Be able to work shifts including weekends, nights, sleep ins,
  • Resilience to manage challenging behaviours

Please note this children's home is based in Exeter and will require you to have a driving license and vehicle.
