Adult social worker

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join a brand-new Mental Health MASH Team in North London.

Do not apply unless you hold a Social Work qualification and have a minimum of 2 years permanent Adult Social Work experience within a Local Authority.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Mental Health MASH function within an NHS-integrated Single Point of Access Team in North London. The role focuses on providing leadership, oversight, and support on complex mental health safeguarding referrals.

Key duties include supporting the Team Manager, offering guidance to Social Workers, overseeing complex Section 42 enquiries, and acting as an escalation point within the MDT to ensure legally sound decision-making.

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Mental Health, safeguarding, and multi-agency working, alongside a sound understanding of the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act. Previous Senior Practitioner experience is highly desirable.
