Social Worker

An East London based "Outstanding" Local Authority is looking for a Social or Senior Social Worker to join their Children with disabilities service. You will be working with children with a range of disabilities and will identify and assess levels of risk and need (within statutory frameworks) in often complex situation. This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be based in the office 3 times a week in Ilford.

Experience of working with disabled children is not essential, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn this area of practice is essential. Experience of Child Protection, Children Looked After, Children in Need and Court work is preferred.

• Undertaking Assessments
• Producing Court statements
• Formulating and Implement Care Plans
• Assess and Identify levels of risk
