We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Community Adult Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in Castle Cary. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with additional needs to live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives within their community.

In this role, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and maintain independence. You will be part of a supportive team that truly values dignity, respect, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised support to adults with varying additional needs
  • Encourage independence, choice, and daily living skills development
  • Support individuals in accessing the community, activities, and appointments
  • Promote wellbeing, safety, and positive mental health
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging support sessions
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and the wider care team
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care/support plans

Shift Pattern

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Mixture of day shifts, evenings, and alternate weekends
  • Rotating rota designed to support work-life balance
  • No two days are the same, offering variety and meaningful engagement
