Youth Worker

I am looking to recruit a Youth Worker to work in a specialist project alongside the police force where you will deliver a customised 12 week programme to young people at high risk of offending or violent crimes including gangs, knife crime or drugs. This is a home based role!

My client is a fantastic charity whose sole purpose is to help young people with their choices and provide youth work services to help them.

The Youth Worker role is based in Buckinghamshire and will involve travel to where your case load is. Key areas we believe will be Aylesbury and Marlow so commutable to these areas is a must.

The role will include working as part of a multi-disciplinary team including police and probation services, working with high risk young people to provide them with education and resources to reduce the risk of reoffending.

The successful candidate must have

• Hands on experience in Youth Work or with high risk young people (children's homes, youth justice, young offenders)
• Emotional and Physical Resilience
• Driving License and Vehicle
• Experience designing and delivering programmes to young people
• Knowledge of and commutable to the whole of Buckinghamshire so living in the County is preferred
