Children with Disabilities Social Worker

A Local Authority are recruiting for Qualified Social Workers to join a Children with Disabilities Team in the Merseyside area.

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)

About the team

This team works directly with children and young people, along with their families, who have a permanent disability or a life-limiting illness. They offer counselling, advice, and practical support for both children and parents. The team also develops alternative care arrangements, including family placements, respite care, and specialist placements.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)
• Experience within children's social work post qualification
• Experience within Looked After Children or Duty and Assessments lends well to this position
• An up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation regulations
