Social Worker - Support and Protection Team

A Local Authority are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Support and Protection Team in the Greater Manchester area.

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)

About the team

This team carries out assessments to understand the needs of children and young people, as well as the risks they may face. Where concerns are identified, they develop and implement appropriate solutions. The organisation also values work-life balance and ensures social workers have the resources they need to perform effectively.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)
• Experience within child protection, children in need, safeguarding, looked after children or referral and assessment post qualification
• An up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation regulations
