Supervising Social Worker

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker for a unique organisation covering a caseload over Somerset.

My client is a small organisation, being an innovative partnership between an Independent Children Services Provider and the Local Authority, delivering high quality, specialist residential and fostering services in the area. This position is a Supervising Social Worker in the specialist fostering team.

With a small caseload of 4 to 5 carers, they are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children and their families having developed a trauma informed, wrap around package of support for children and carers.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)
• Experience within Fostering post qualification
• An up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation and fostering regulations
• You must drive and be able to attend visits in the Somerset area
