Children's social worker

We are looking for a Social worker to join a Children with Disabilities team

Do not apply for this role if you do not have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

The team works closely with families and carers to understand individual needs, create tailored care plans, and offer continuous support. This team is a through-service working with children and young people who have learning or physical disabilities. This means the team work with children at all stages of intervention whether long or short term. Ensuring that every case is approached with a child-centred focus to support positive outcomes and effective case progression is key to the team's continued success.

About you

The successful candidate will have extensive experience within a frontline Children's Safeguarding Social Work team, along with specialist experience working within Children with Disabilities (CWD) services. You must hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, or CQSW) and have a minimum of three years' post-qualified experience in a relevant Children's Social Work. A valid UK driving licence and regular access to a vehicle is essential for this job role.
