Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join a Duty and Assessment Team.

THIS POST REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION OF A MINIMUM 3 YEAR PERMANENT EXPERIENCE.

About the team

This team works to support children and families in understanding the help they need to live safely and happily. It is a fast-paced environment where practitioners carry out Section 47, Section 17, and Section 7 assessments to determine the level of need and risk in each case. The team prides itself on supportive management and effective, collaborative working with partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

About you

It's essential to have experience of working either in a Front Door, Children in Need, Child Protection A social work degree (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years permanent experience within Local Authority based Social Work. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential to be considered for this role.
