Children's Social Worker

We are currently looking for an Children's Social Worker to join our Parenting Assessments Team.

Do not apply for this role if you do not have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team is responsible for undertaking specialist parenting assessments using the Parent Assessment Manual Software (PAMS) framework. They support, guide, and work closely with families throughout the assessment process, helping parents to develop practical skills and better understand how to meet their children's needs. The team completes detailed, evidence-based reports to inform decision-making, ensuring all work is in line with relevant legislation, policies, and court requirements. The team also work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to assess risk, identify strengths, and promote the safety, stability, and overall well-being of children.

About you

It is essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three year's experience within Children's Social Work. Having a good understanding and knowledge of family assessments and family court experience is key for this position. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is required to qualify for this role.
