Nursery Room Leader required for a friendly and ambitious Nursery in Kenilworth. Our client is a small company offering a family feel and professional growth opportunities and is ideal for someone who is looking for longevity and career progression. The Nursery is currently at 39 places with an opportunity to grow by a further 10%

This role is 40 hours a week and the Nursery opens from 07:30-18:00 (shift patterns can vary) (51 weeks a year). The Nursery supports Babies and Children from 6 weeks to 5 years .

Minimum Qualification: Level 3

Salary: £30,160.00 - £31,720.00

Duties

  • Lead and supervise the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare and educational activities.
  • Plan, organise, and implement age-appropriate programmes that promote developmental milestones.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children within the nursery environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Oversee daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and support professional development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance logs, and activity planning.

. Experience

  • Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare setting or nursery environment.
  • Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood settings.
  • Strong background in childcare practices, early childhood education, or nursery experience.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive working environment.
