Nursery Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Nursery Manager for a lovely setting Reading. Set by the countryside, this nursery also boasts wonderful outdoor areas.

This is an opportunity to lead a well-established nursery with a warm and friendly team. Successful applicants will oversee the running of the nursery ensuring it continues to thrive and grow.

Key Responsibilities as the Nursery Manager:

• Lead the daily operations of the nursery
• Oversee a dedicated team of early years professionals so that they continue to provide excellent childcare
• Ensure the highest standards of care, safety and education
• Oversee curriculum planning and tracking of children's development
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff

About you as the Nursery Manager:

• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy in a busy setting (required)
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted expectations
• A confident, supportive leader with the ability to build and develop strong teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality early years practice
