Team Manager

A Local Authority is looking for a Team Manager (Adoption & Assessment Support). This is a Permanent positions and is part time (18.5 hours).

This Local Authority have made a number of changes as they are striving to be "Outstanding" rated. You will be experienced in ensuring that the welfare of Children & Young people is safeguarded. This Adoption service is a part of the Regional Adoption Agency.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Team Manager:

• Manage a Team of Social Workers
• Operational Management
• Service Development
• Budget Management
• Quality Assurance

Requirements for you as the Team Manager:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Management experience
• Significant experience within Adoption
• Significant experience within Children's Social Work
• A working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care

Location: Birmingham

Salary range: £52,000 - £58,624 d.o.e + benefits
