Job description

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker for this organisation's Fostering service in the West Midlands. This is a permanent and part time position.

You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship)

This organisation works with a therapeutic approach to Fostering and the service covers the West Midlands. This team has flexible and creative ways and use the secure base model. This organisation offers more Children's services like residential care and education.

About you

The successful candidate will have Social Worker experience within Fostering or Child Protection, Safeguarding, Looked after Children, Adoption, Duty & Assessment or Leaving Care Social Work teams post qualification and whilst having an up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation. You will be covering a caseload of maximum (10 carers pro rata) across Shropshire, Staffordshire & Birmingham working part time hours (that are flexible to work across the week).
