Substance Misuse Social Worker

Local Authority in Central London is looking for a Social Worker to join their Substance Misuse Team. This is a Locum Social Work role offering up to £32.00 per hour.

Your responsibilities as a Substance Misuse Social Worker:

• Deal with clients that have a background of substance misuse/ dependency
• Undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments
• Deal with Safeguarding enquires
• Implement care plans and carry out a care packages
• Complete section 117 reviews
• Liaise with other services within the council for the best interests of each service user

Requirements of you as a Substance Misuse Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Substance Misuse, Mental Health work

Location: Central London

Umbrella pay rate: up to £32.00 per hour
