Specialist Children's Court Social Worker

A Local Authority in Central Bedfordshire is looking for a Social Worker to join their Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC) Assessing Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience in a Court team setting. Being able to assess the needs of each child and family comprehensively is vital to the success of this role.

Your responsibilities as an FDAC Assessing Social Worker:

• Undertake initial gateway screenings to fully inform families on the service and how they can get the most out of it
• Work in collaboration with the Child's Social Worker as well as a number of other Social Work Professionals in the MDT team set up
• Be a key part in court proceedings
• Comprehensively identify levels of risk within a case

Requirements of you as an FDAC Assessing Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of court work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential to this role

Location: Dunstable, Central Bedfordshire

Umbrella pay rate: up to £35.00 per hour
