Social Worker - Referral and Assessment Team

Norfolk County Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience in an R+A, Frontline setting - as these are the kinds of cases that will be focussed on. The key to success in this role is to be able to take hold of complex cases independently from the beginning of the contract with confidence.

Your responsibilities as a Referral and Assessment Social Worker:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Be able to make decisions based on visits in line with valid legislations
• Working on short-term, fast-paced cases with a high level of proficiency
• Undertaking Child and Parenting Assessments
• Attend Children in Need and Child Protection meetings

Requirements of you as a Referral and Assessment Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Frontline work
• A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is essential for this role

Location: Norfolk

Umbrella pay rate: £40.00 per hour + £150 accommodation allowance
