Social Worker - Leaving Care Team

The London Borough of Hackney looking for a Social Worker to join their Leaving Care Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have previous experience in a Leaving Care and/or LAC environment. This position also has aspects of work that deal with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children - so experience of this previously is valued.

Your responsibilities as a Leaving Care Social Worker:

• Manage a complex caseload of children in both Looked After Children and Leaving Care cases
• To work with a preventative mind-set
• Ensure high quality pathway plans are put in place for all children and young adults leaving care
• Identify whether external help is needed long term

Requirements of you as a Leaving Care Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Leaving Care work
• A valid UK driving licence is essential to this role

Location: Hackney, London

Umbrella pay rate: £31.39 per hour
