Social Worker - Fostering Recruitment Team

A Local Authority with a family-feel working environment is looking for a Social Worker for their team Fostering Recruitment Team in North London. You will be empowering children and young people to have a voice in making decisions about their own care and planning.

The ideal Social Worker will have a good knowledge of the fostering service. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match the ambitions to the Local Authority.

Your responsibilities as the Social Worker:

• Ensure the service exceeds National Minimum Standards and best practice
• Ensure children have permanency plans when needed
• Support IROs to review care plans at every Looked After Children Review
• Provide foster carers with supervision and support

Requirements of you as the Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Significant experience of working within Fostering
• Experience of working within Assessments
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: North London

Salary: up to £45,000
