Social Worker - Children in Need Team

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is looking for a Social Worker to join their Children in Need Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in Children in Need environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Children in Need Social Worker:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Taking part in assessments and care planning for children and families
• Build and sustain strong relationships with children and young people involved
• Constant monitoring and reviewing of cases
• Liaise with connected services

Requirements of you as a Children in Need Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of CIN/ CP work

Location: Greenwich, London

Umbrella pay rate: up to £35.00 per hour
