Social Worker - Care Planning Team

Sefton Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their Children's Care Planning Team. This is a locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children and Children with Disability team.

Your responsibilities as a Care Planning Social Worker:

• Creating court reports and presenting in court arena
• Demonstrate effective care planning and relevant skills to critically
  evaluate risks in order to make effective decisions
• Undertake Achieving Best Evidence Interviews effectively
• Deliver Sefton's 5-year plan for children and young people
• Creating positive relationships with children and families

Requirements of you as a Care Planning Social Worker:

• A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Must have 2+ years frontline experience
• A valid UK driving license and vehicle is advised

Location: Sefton, Merseyside

Umbrella pay rate: £35.00 per hour
