Social Worker - Assessment and Intake Team

The London Borough of Southwark is looking for a Social Worker to join their Assessment and Intake Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have recent experience in a Duty, Initial Response environment. The key to success in this role is to treat every case individually to create the best possible outcomes.

Your responsibilities as an Assessment and Intake Social Worker:

• Carrying out initial assessments
• Refer vulnerable service user to the appropriate team or external service
• Complete assessments under the Care Act 2014
• Work in accordance with the Safeguarding Act
• Mental Capacity Assessments
• Complete duty work

Requirements of you as an Assessment and Intake Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of First Response work

Location: Southwark, London

Umbrella pay rate: £30.00 per hour
