Job description

A Local Authority is looking for a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). This role is full-time and permanent position.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Approved Mental Health Professional:

  • Contribution to the duty rota
  • Report writing
  • Face to face assessments
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary professionals
  • Working with Team Leader

Requirements for you as the Approved Mental Health Professional:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)
  • Experience of working within Mental Health
  • An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Adults Social Care and Mental Health

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £48,587 + benefits
