Social Worker - Adult Locality Team

A Local Authority in Bedfordshire is looking for a Social Worker to join their Adult Locality Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have recent experience in a Locality or Safeguarding environment. The key to success in this role is to treat every case individually to create the best possible outcomes.

Your responsibilities as an Adult Locality Social Worker:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments
• Deal with Safeguarding enquiries
• Undertake Care Act Assessments and Safeguarding assessments
• Liaise with other services within the council in regard to the best intertest of the service user
• Implement care plans and care packages

Requirements of you as an Adult Locality Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and Locality work
• A valid UK driving licence and car is preferred for this role

Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire

Umbrella pay rate: £33.00 per hour
