Social Worker

We are looking for an Adult Social Worker to join the Learning Disabilities and Transitions Team on a locum basis.

This post requires a Social Work Qualification of a minimum 2 year post experience.

About the team

This team works with young people who are transitioning into Adults services from children services. Responsibilities within this team can include undertaking care act assessments, implementing mental capacity act assessments and working under section 42. This team works with internal and external agencies including the voluntary sector.

About you

The successful candidate will be up to date with Adult Social Work legislation and must have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience. A candidate with Learning Disability or Community experience will be suitable for this post.
