Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join an Access and Assessment Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This team specialises in community based work by providing a first response service for people in the community in need of support. The team works in a very fast paced environment and focusses on short term case holding for 4-6 weeks to start the process of long term care solutions, crisis intervention work, organise respite services and complete placement assessments. Supporting families and carers involved is key and ensuring service users have access to the right resources and services is at the forefront of the teams work. A positive attitude, proactive working style and ability to work to strict timescales is key to the success of this position.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience within a community or first response setting lends well to the success of this position. A valid UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential for this role.
