Social Worker - 0-17 Children with Disabilities Team

Medway Council is looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their newly restructured Children with Disabilities Team. This is a Locum Social Work role dealing with a 0-17 year caseload.

The ideal Social Worker will have prior experience working in a Frontline, CWD team environment. The key to success in this role is to be able to work confidently and proactively from the beginning of the contract and treat each case as an individual.

Your responsibilities as a CWD 0-17 Social Worker:

• Take hold of a 0-17 year complex caseload
• Identify and assess each individual child's level of need and address this appropriately
• Provide Managers with written reports on each case
• Form positive relationships with children and families involved
• Work collaboratively with connected services and teams to ensure the best outcomes possible

Requirements of you as a CWD 0-17 Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Children with Disabilities or Frontline work

Location: Medway, Kent

Umbrella pay rate: £38.00 per hour
