Service Manager Safeguarding

A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to be a Service Manager for their Locality service in South Yorkshire. This is a full-time, and permanent position with some hybrid working. The ideal Manager will have Significant Safeguarding experience.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Service Manager:

• Staff Management & Training
• Budget Management
• Strategic Development
• Working with the Signs of Safety approach
• Reporting to the Assistant Director

Requirements for you as the Service Manager:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Significant Management experience
• Significant experience within Safeguarding/Child Protection/Child Sexual Exploitation
• An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary Scale: £54,628 - £59,825 + benefits (dependent on experience)
