Senior Social Worker - Referral and Assessment Team

Slough Children First is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have prior knowledge and experience of R+A work and what the job entails at this level. The key to success in this role is to be able to work efficiently on short-term cases that have a higher complexity.

Your responsibilities as a Referral and Assessment Senior Social Worker:

• Undertaking Child and Parenting Assessments
• Attend Children in Need and Child Protection meetings
• Working on short-term, fast-paced cases with a high level of proficiency
• Be able to make decisions based on visits in line with valid legislations

Requirements of you as a Referral and Assessment Senior Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Referral and Assessment work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is essential to this role

Location: Slough, Berkshire

Umbrella pay rate: up to £40.00 per hour
