Senior Social Worker Children in Care

A Local Authority is looking for a Senior Social Worker for their Children in Care (Court) team in Northamptonshire. This position is a full-time and permanent.

The ideal Social Workers will have significant Court & Safeguarding experience . This is a great chance to become an integral part of an exciting future as they aspiring to be "Outstanding" rated by Ofsted.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Senior Social Worker:

• Managing a complex caseload
• Court work - care order to final order
• Mentor Social Workers
• Collaboration with multiple teams
• Reporting to the Team Manager

Requirements for you as the Senior Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
• Registered with Social Work England
• Significant experience of Court work & Safeguarding
• An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care

Location: Northamptonshire

Salary Scale: £41,103 + £43,051 benefits
