Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding and Care Planning Team

The London Borough of Bromley is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Children's Safeguarding and Care Planning Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Senior Practitioner will have extensive experience in Safeguarding and be able to make effective decisions concerning the futures of children and young people. Your role is vital as you will need to be competent enough in your work to provide advice to others in the team.

Your responsibilities as a Safeguarding Senior Practitioner:

• Manage a complex caseload
• Take part in court proceedings
• Constant monitoring and reviewing of cases
• Work with other agencies and Social Work Professionals to create the best possible outcomes for children and young people involved in cases
• Be able to provide guidance to others in the team when necessary

Requirements of you as a Safeguarding Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Safeguarding work
• A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is essential to this role

Location: Bromley, London

Umbrella pay rate: £40.00 per hour
