Senior Practitioner - Forensic Inpatient Hospital

A Forensic Inpatient Hospital in West London is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their services. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have recent experience in a Mental Health based work environment at this level. The key to success in this role is to be able to start the contract confidently with little supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Forensic Inpatient Senior Practitioner:

• Provide advice and guidance to others in the team
• To complete ongoing social care assessments and reports as required from pre-admission to discharge stage.
• MAPPA
• Complete full risk and Safeguarding assessments and risk management
• Complete MOJ and tribunal reports
• Work within the Care Programme Approach (CPAs)
• Help prepare service users for discharge
• Placements reviews within the CCG

Requirements of you as a Forensic Inpatient Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Mental Health/ inpatient work

Location: West London

Umbrella pay rate: £36.00 - £40.00 per hour
