Job description

The London Borough of Enfield is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Children with Disabilities Team. This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have previous knowledge and experience in a CWD team at this level. The key to success in this role is to be able to work well with both Children and Families in order to create the best possible outcomes.

Your responsibilities as a Children with Disabilities Senior Practitioner:

  • Take hold of a complex 0-18 year old caseload
  • Support and provide guidance to others in the team when necessary
  • Identify and assess each individual child's level of need and address this appropriately
  • Aid in the day-to-day running of the team
  • Form positive relationships with children and families involved

Requirements of you as a Children with Disabilities Senior Practitioner:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid Social Work England registration
  • Have competent knowledge and experience of CWD work
  • A minimum of a years experience at Senior Practitioner level

Location: Enfield, London

Umbrella pay rate: up to £41.00 per hour dependent on experience
