Job description

SEN Epilepsy Support Worker required to support our client based in Lingfield, Surrey.

This role focuses on Adults and Children dealing with epilepsy and complex needs, this is situated in 16 residential homes attached to an SEN School.

Experience with SEN children is required for this role

This will include working in a residential special setting for 5-25-year-olds, a large percentage of these residents have Epilepsy, autism, and severe learning difficulties, along with communication difficulties.

Hours:

We have a wide range of shifts which can be discussed while reviewing your application. These are the roles we have below;

Support Worker (Adults) - Shifts ranging from 6:45am till 22:00pm

Support Worker (Children's) - Shifts ranging from 6:45am till 22:00pm

Benefits for you as the SEN Epilepsy Support Worker

Training and Development paid for by CHA.

Weekday / Saturday day Pay Starting £14 per hour

Weekday / Saturday nights (hours worked between 8pm and 6am) - £15.00 per hour.

Sundays £16 per hour

Bank Holiday - £20 per hour

All rates have holiday pay and pension on top.

Requirements for you as the SEN Epilepsy Support Worker;

  • Enhanced Adult DBS on the update service
  • Previous experience working within epilepsy, autism and vulnerable adults.
  • Supportive and positive attitude
  • Ability to change the lives of vulnerable people.
  • Must be prepared to work with either children's or adults.
