Job description

A Charity is looking for a Registered Manager for their Lancashire based Fostering service. This is a full-time, and permanent position.

The ideal Manager will have Significant Fostering experience ideally within the private/third sector. This is a great chance to become an integral part of an exciting future as they aspiring to be "Outstanding" rated by Ofsted.

Duties and Responsibilities for you as the Registered Manager:

  • Budget Management
  • Business Development
  • Strategic Development
  • Performance Management
  • Reporting to the Head of Service

Requirements for you as the Registered Manager:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Significant Management experience
  • Significant experience within Fostering
  • An excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Fostering

Location: Blackburn

Salary Scale: £47,000 - £49,400 + OOH allowance + benefits
