Principal Social Worker

A therapeutic Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Principal Social Worker to join their Fostering Team with a small caseload based in and around the West Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time position that can be partially working from home.

The ideal applicant will have post qualification Fostering experience. You will need to possess the drive to match this Independent Fostering Agencies ambitions.

Your responsibilities as the Principal Social Worker:

• Supervising managing a caseload of foster carers
• Supervising other Social Workers
• Recruiting & Assessing prospective new carers
• Contributing to managerial duties & responsibilites
  

Requirements of you as the Principal Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Significant Fostering experience
• A Social Work England registration
• Post qualification experience in Children's Social Work
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Bromsgrove (working from home)

Salary scale: £37,000 - £40,960 + car allowance + benefits
