Practice Development Service Manager

A Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker for to be a Service Manager for their Children's Social Work Practice Development division. This is a PERMANENT position that is full-time. The ideal applicant will have significant experience of working in Children's Social Work services at a Management level. This is a brand new position.

This Local Authority is based in South Yorkshire but operates hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days at home and vice versa - dependent on diary) meaning that you could live outside of the region but be able to feasibly work for them.

Your responsibilities as the Service Manager:

• Leading & managing Learning Academy & Workforce Development
• Day to day management of the service
• Service Development
• Budget Management
• Staff Management

Requirements of you as the Service Manager:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A Social Work England registration
• Significant experience of working within Children's Social Work
• Significant experience of working at a Management level
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary scale: £54,424 - £57,859 + benefits (dependent on experience)
