OPPD Social Worker

Slough Borough Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Older People/ Physical Disabilities Team. This is a Locum Social Work role offering £38.00 per hour.

Your responsibilities as an OPPD Social Worker:

• Manage a complex caseload age 65+
• Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments
• Deal with Safeguarding enquiries
• Undertake Care Act Assessments and Safeguarding assessments
• Liaise with other services within the council in regard to the best intertest of the service user
• Implement care plans and care packages

Requirements of you as an OPPD Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and Locality work
• A valid UK driving license and car is essential for this role

Location: Slough, Berkshire

Umbrella pay rate: £38.00 per hour
