Mental Health Social Worker

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Working Age Mental Health Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience

About the team

This team works as a multidisciplinary service to provide appropriate support to those 65+ with either functional or organic (dementia) mental health concerns and their carers. Completing mental capacity assessments, facilitating and completing safeguarding processes under the Care Act 2014 are some of the key responsibilities for this position. The team averages a caseload of 20 cases per Social Worker.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience in a mental health setting (whether that be community based or inpatient) are experiences that lend well to this role. A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential to the success of this role.
