Locum IRO

Nottingham City are looking for a competent Social worker to join their team as an IRO. The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working as an IRO and within a Quality Assurance Team. This role is a Locum position which is full time.

Your responsibilities as an Independent Reviewing Officer:

• Involvement in LAC reviews
• Ability to provide knowledge and guidance regarding LAC proceedings
• Identifying any gaps in the assessment process or delivery of service
• Strong Legislation and Process knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and therefore correctly advocate for them

Requirements of you as an IRO:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A valid Social Work England registration
• Have competent knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance/ IRO Work
• A valid UK driving licence and car is essential to this role

Location: Nottingham

Pay: 39.46 per hour
