Independent Reviewing Officer

An Independent Fostering Agency are looking for an Independent Reviewing Officer (Fostering) to work on a part time (22.5 hours) basis.

You would be covering the North East region and must be willing to travel around the Tyne & Wear, County Durham & North Yorkshire regions although reviews are done by a hybrid model (virtual and face to face).

Responsibilities as the Independent Reviewing Officer:

• Assess approved Foster Carers
• Foster Carer appraisals
• Ensure organisation standards are being worked to and met

Requirements of you as the Independent Reviewing Officer:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Registration with Social Work England (replaced HCPC)
• Significant Fostering experience
• Management experience ideally
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Salary Scale: £40,550 - £44,300 pro rata + benefits
